African Kahawa Coffee-Infused Toffee Pudding - Recipe

Transport your taste buds to Africa with this rich and indulgent African Kahawa Coffee-Infused Toffee Pudding. The coffee’s hints of toffee, caramel, chocolate, and fruit pair beautifully with the sticky sweetness of this classic dessert, creating a flavor symphony with every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups strong-brewed House of the Guud Shepherd African Kahawa Coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup dates, chopped
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp African Kahawa Coffee
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Soak dates in coffee for 10 minutes. Stir in baking soda.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, then mix in flour and baking powder. Fold in the date mixture.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes.
  5. For the sauce, simmer cream, sugar, coffee, and butter until thickened. Pour over the warm pudding.
  6. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
